Melt-ready in < 5 minutes with a tealight in the cubby.
Light the tealight
Place one unscented tealight flat in the internal cubby and light it. Set the mug on a heat-safe surface.
Add & stir
Add buttons or finely chopped chocolate (or shredded cheese). Stir a few times as it softens. Usually < 5 min.
Dip & enjoy
Keep the tealight lit to hold a silky dip. Add a splash of milk/cream if you like it looser. Extinguish safely after.
⚠️ Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from drafts and anything flammable.

How does it heat?
The mug has a hollowed cubby inside the body. Place a tealight candle in that cubby; the flame warms the cup above for gentle, even heat.
How long to melt chocolate?
With one good tealight and buttons or finely chopped chocolate (≈50–80 g), it usually melts in < 5 minutes. Stir a few times. Optional: add a splash of milk or cream.
Can I do cheese fondue?
Yes. Use shredded cheese — it melts in about 5 minutes. Add a little milk (optional) if needed to loosen the texture.
What candle should I use?
Use a standard unscented tealight (≈38 mm) with a cotton wick. Avoid scented or tall candles, and make sure it sits flat in the cubby.

Use on a stable, heat-safe surface and keep away from drafts and flammables. ⚠️ Never leave a lit candle unattended. Ceramic and fork may get hot — handle with care.
What if chocolate thickens?
Stir in a teaspoon of warm milk/cream or a bit of neutral oil. Avoid getting water in the chocolate. Replace weak tealights and chop chocolate smaller for smoother results.
